UL Certified
All CAP-XX standard products have been tested by Underwriter's Laboratory and certified as UL-Recognized Components.
RoHS Compliant
All CAP-XX products are lead-free and meet both the European Union and China Government RoHS Directives regarding the use of hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment.
REACH Compliant
All CAP-XX products meet the European Union Directive EC 1907/2006 regarding the Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals (REACH). CAP-XX supercapacitors do not contain any of the chemicals listed as Substances of Very High Concern in Annex XIV or the Candidate List under Article 57 of the Directive, and CAP-XX products either do not contain any of the restricted-use substances given in the Annex XVII, or meet any of the restrictions placed on them.
Halogen-Free
CAP-XX supercapacitors are Halogen-Free as defined under the draft IPC/JEDEC J-STD-709 standard for electronic components and assemblies.
No Conflict Metals
CAP-XX supercapacitors contain Tin (Sn) sourced only from non-conflict sources, and do not contain any of the other Conflict Metals as defined in Section 1502 of the United States Financial Reform Bill (H.R. 4173), including Tantalum (Ta), Tungsten (W), or Gold (Au). CAP-XX supercapacitors do not contain any rare earth metals.
